We were thrilled to talk to friend-of-the-podcast Tasha Sounart about her job as Creative Director in the Theme Parks group of Pixar.

In this delightful conversation, we talked to Tasha about what a day at Pixar is like, what inspires her creativity, and which Pixar world she’d like to visit.

More about Tasha

Tasha Sounart was a feature animator at Pixar starting in 1997 and worked on several films, including Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo.

After a short stint in video games at Double Fine Productions, she returned to Pixar in 2011 and is now a Creative Director in the Theme Parks group.

In her current role, she works with Walt Disney Imagineering on the usage of Pixar characters within any of the Disney parks worldwide.

Some of her projects include Lamplight Lounge, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, and the upcoming Pixar Place Hotel.
